That's from 2018 though. Tesla has updated the system since then.

Cadillac using a name like 'Super Cruise' is a much safer idea. People in Teslas hear 'autopilot' and seem to think it means you're safe to stop paying attention. At this point, these types of systems should be treated the same as cruise control. You can turn it on to make driving smoother/easier, but you still have to pay attention.

Another Tesla death in Florida due to autopilot and idiot driver. Car went under a semi going 68mph and the whole roof (and I assume head of the driver) sheered off.

Driver had engaged autopilot just 10 seconds before the accident and took their hands off the wheel.

I don't know how Tesla is allowed to continue to let people engage autopilot in it's current state. It's clearly not safe. My understanding is the GM system is much more safe.
