Default Fine Knock Learning

I have gained so much knowledge reading the other posts on this site and also the Cobb website. I have a quick question about the Fine Knock Learning.

On the Cobb website, it states: Fine Knock Learning of -2.8 or worse during wide open throttle (WOT) run is when an issue should be addressed. https://cobbtuning.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201230934-General-Guidelines-for-Monitoring-Knock-on-a-Subaru-non-DIT-Cars-

Does it have to be through the entire time of the WOT or just one time during the WOT?

I am noticing a -2.8 when I mash the throttle and it goes down to -1.4 then 0 as I am accelerating. I donít have any logs for you guys to see as I am just trying to get a general baseline on when exactly should I be worrying about the Fine Knock Learn parameter.

Will it still do it if you hit the throttle softer? If you are running an OTS map from them, take logs and send then to Cobb. They are technically you tuner and they will see if something is wrong.

From what I remember reading online is that the other numbers are part of a cascade effect. So it's not continuously happening.

what they are getting at is dont freak out if you have some registered 'knock' at low load or tip in, which it sounds like you are getting.

if you are pulling timing at high engine load or it continues to do it as you go toward redline, then you need to investigate.

I randomly get -1.4 or -2.8 feedback knock over bumps and stuff. Still have not got one correction in DAM or knock knock learning since I put on my accessport
