![]() I would stick with a 7cm if you want to have quicker spool. Take a look around for someone else that has posted results of both variations to see what might match your goals.
Injectors if you are not using E85 could be 750-850 that should cover your requirements just fine. Fuel pump is fine. Seth P3 Import Autowerks 907.355.6655 Quote:

![]() I would say -19 or so is normal. Ive never seen one higher than that at just idle.

![]() Normal. There was confusion (I think) because most people look at vac readings in [inhg] not [psi]. I'm guessing your reading that negative psi reading from your cobb or data log software not a gauge.
However, if you want to see signs of a vac leak on your car specifically take a look at fuel trims. A leak will cause trims larger then say +-(6$-8%). Look at the values at idle for long and short trims. Other signs could be poor idle, harder starts, things like that. |

![]() Stock is stock. 100k or so and they will prolly need changing. I run Tigwerks solid mounts. Solid mounts are my preference tho.

![]() so ive been looking at cbe systems for my 2013 hatch, and from what i can see is that roughly all of the aftermarkets ie cobb and invidia cost approx the same with relative gains... i asked around and went to muffler city downtown anchorage and they said they could build me a custom cbe for roughly 600-700. my question is is there anything i should be weary about? i mean its about half the price of the cobb and invidia systems which is good but will i get the same relative gains and such? or would it just be better to pony up the cash for a invidia or cobb?
Thank you in advance! |

![]() If it's only a catback than you're just doing it for the sound. I'm not saying that as a bad thing, but until you have an aftermarket downpipe and are pushing a lot more power than you're only making the rumble a lot louder. If you don't care about the sound than spend the money on a downpipe and a tune.

![]() You can't install the downpipe without getting tuned for it. Seriously, you won't gain any power and might **** up your car. The cbe doesn't matter, the dp does. Make an appointment with one of our local tuners before you install it.

![]() Spend the money on the premade catback , saying that section of the exhaust isn't important isn't exactly correct. If its "custom made" and not done correctly it can and will hurt performance.
You can't go wrong with either cbe from Cobb or Invidia Last edited by tribalwrx; 11-25-2013 at 03:00 AM. |

![]() Right sorry, I guess that wasn't very clear. I just meant if he was only looking for power gains he might as well leave it stock, that being said though we all enjoy a good rumble. I would recommend nameless performance, you could order an axle back now for sound and then upgrade with their midpipe for less restriction later.

![]() The gains are found in the down pipe not the cat back system in most cases, at least in the case of a stock turbo setup.
You may want to start with a downpipe and a tune and see if your happy with the sound and the performance. Doing the cat back after the downpipe will change looks and sound of course but unless there was something wrong with the existing system you wont feel any difference. We have verified this several times with before and after dyno runs. Call around a bit on the exhaust systems. Our shop can get full name brand cat back systems for around the cost of what the local shop claims to be able to build one for. A good invidia or equivalent downpipe can be had for cheap if you shop around as well. Keep in mind if you plan to move to a state with emission requirements then you might want to stick with a high flow catted downpipe(they cost almost double however but not quite!). ![]() I disagree that they cost double but they are a bit pricier for a catted dp.

![]() Dunno if this is really a tuner question but what would these work fine on my wrx? Mine are currently bent and need to be repaired.
