Default 1-13-05 weekly meet pics at "the spot'

http://www.projectwrx.com/gallery/sl...umName=album12 <- slideshow

http://www.projectwrx.com/gallery/vi...umName=album12 <- normal galery

NOTE: this is not found in the Subaru gallery due to the fact that it's my first "test roll" with this new lens, so it's appropriately serving double duty in the test gallery.

Some teaser pics:

you know, it scares me to say this...but the pic above of jason sitting with his hand on his coffee cup is a great pic from a composition standpoint. Very nicely done.

Evan: as for the turbo.. not quite sure, I took it while doing some snaps at DS1 Motorsports. I'll ask Dylan when I get a chance.

Jason: that last teaser of little Jason is hilarious... he looks so serious... then you read the shirt...

I believe that is an HKS GT4028 (2840?) from the HKS kit.

Heh, thx! I'm trying to be more aware of following the rule of thirds, and not being so snap happy.

Cool pics, Jorge. You're not making it any easier for me to hold off on buying a dSLR.

The DoF (lack thereof, rather) is just amazing. It really makes for some stunning close-ups

The thing I like the most is that you don't have to stop the camera down too terribly far at a relatively slow ISO 400 to have a faithful exposure with great depth of field.

This was handheld:

Actually.... had I taken that picture it would have been in focus, composed, shot with flash, and exposed better heh..

Dylan had the camera right there, and had it in hero mode (full automatic ).

Looks like you're about to perform a magic trick.... Is there a white rabbit going to appear on the business end of the shocker?
