![]() i am currently running cobb stage 2 and the tbe is a 3inch downpipe to 2.5 inch catback. The muffler was installed over a year and a half ago and i believe it has a glass pack that is completely worn out. i hear they wear out after a year or so. Sounds hideous at certain times too, usually only when its really hot outside and it has been driven for a while. I am currently looking to get an HKS carbon ti catback to replace the 2.5 inch POS that is currently in place. I also have an up pipe that im waiting to install until i swap out the turbo.
Basically i just want to know how much power i am losing by having a 3 inch dp to 2.5 inch catback with a pos muffler as opposed to the carbon ti catback which would be 3 inches all the way. and also if it is worth it to install the UP before i do the turbo swap, which will most likely be around december. one more thing, when i replace the exhaust and if i install the UP before i do the turbo swap, should i reset the ecu or are those both not big enough mods to effect the ecu? thanks for taking the time to read this.

![]() helps a little. still would like to know if its worth it to put the UP on b4 turbo swap or just wait until then to do it all at once. and also if swapping the exhaust or installing the UP requires me to reset the ecu.
