I've got an '06 tr and want to make it faster on a budget. If anyone has anything they need to get rid of that will work on my car, let me know. I will let you know I'm only shopping around right now. It'll probably be about a month before I can afford anything. I just moved down here from the Chicago area, and if you've ever moved that long of a distance you know how much it hurts the pocketbooks.

get a ERZ downpipe off ebay, 140 shipped, find a cheap catbackor just get a new axle back
find someone with a tactrix cable, and do a OSECU stage 2 tune.. roughly 200-300 bucks for stage 2, thats as cheap as you are going to get it or for 0 bucks, find someone with a tactrix and do a stage 1 tune |

Not sure if you mean faster as in just engine power or other..
for power its best to go em then a turbo back exhaust what they said..(not to mention a boost gauge) But for everything else.. turning/braking etc..... A kartboy short shifter is an easy install and only 100$ new.. right now you have only a 17mm rear swaybar. that needs to be bigger a 22 adjustable swaybar or etc (whiteline, cusco, cobb, etc) (150ish new) larger front swaybar... 22 or 24 adj works great.. 150ish+ endlinks for just the rear (you already have decent stock front ones) improve on the swaybars effects..100$ (kartboy or whiteline are great) a more agressive alignment, negative camber up front. and 0 toe (~50) Better tires 400ish+ Better springs (take off sti oem, prodrive, sti pink springs etc) 200-300 (if you want to get better struts...tokico d specs + washer mod from TIC = 525$+) better brake pads (like hps or axxis metal masters/ultimates) might as well add lines and fluid while at it some vendors do this for around 200bucks+ Just some ideas that are budget friendly. the biggest bang for buck i'd do first though is a rearswaybar though. (and endlinks turninconcepts.com can get you one for 145 shipped/new 22 adj whiteline |
