![]() ok, so heres the problem. started smelling this, oddly only at night(cooler temps) and very rarely if ever in the day have i smelt it. it smells like its coming from in between the alternator and the intake manifold, right dead center manifold wise. i have a picture of the area. i haven't taken anything off to find a leak but i know its there b/c it smells pretty bad. anyone know what could be leaking?

![]() Im going to say the one under the inlet. I also had this about a year and half ago and only in cold weather, i didnt bother with it and it went away, never came back. But some have it worse than others.

![]() That actually is the "common one". There are two hard fuel lines under the intake that are connected by a short rubber section. I would imagine it's spraying out of the rubber section somewhere.
Here's a post I made a long time ago with pictures: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...3&postcount=98 In my case, a few hose clamps took care of the problem. |

![]() There is also one that will leak on the other side of the IM behind the AC compressor. I have fixed that one a couple times for some people.
