For Sale: 1988 Mazda 323 GTX Open Class Rally car with the following specs:

Motor:

• 56k on chassis less on the motor rebuild (unsure of exact mileage)
• HKS FCON
• HKS electronic boost controller
• K&N filter

Suspension/Safety/Misc:

• 4 piston calipers on all four wheels (RX7 TT calipers)
• Groups A Uprights and 5 lug conversion.
• safety devices bolt in cage with welded in gussets and door bars (will need updating to 2004 rules)
• Sparco Sprint driver seat, Corbeau Forza co-driver seat
• Willams 3" 6 point belts
• Terratrip 202 and Terraphone intercom
• all brake and fuel lines run inside the car
• stainless steel brake lines
• hydraulic handbrake with dual master cylinders
• Fuel Safe 10 gallon fuel cell
• battery relocated to hatch
• fiberglass light pod w/ 4 lights
• aluminum skidplate and full underbody armor

• eight 15" Panasport- Millen wheels w/ L81 Michelin gravel tires- 60% tread
• 15" Panasport- Millen wheels w/ street rubber (currently on the car)
• 2 rear half shafts

• 1 stock rear diff

• entire wiring harness and electrical parts from another GTX

• factory service manual and wiring diagram

Due to other priorities I am forced to sell my Rally Car and end my rally career before it ever got started. The engine runs very well and the car is ready to rally (SCCA logbook and safety equipment included). I bought the car in the fall of 2003 and have only put a handful of miles on it, as I never even had the time to get it registered in AZ. I do hold the clean AZ title. I never even got a chance to take it to a dirt road.

This was DoubleTake Racing's old car. The car has minor body damage on the passenger side door from an altercation from a previous rally. Also the driver’s rear upright was damaged in a rally and had been repaired when I got the car. It was not welded straight, so I had it rewelded by a local shop to fix it.

I am not parting out the spares unless the new owner doesn’t want everything, so please don’t ask.

Asking $5000 for the entire package. The car is currently located in Phoenix, AZ. You will need to bring a flatbed car hauler and a truck for all the spares.
