Default does your car leak water after you turn it off?

just picked up a 06 wrx a few weeks ago, whenever i turn off the car it leaks water where the ac drain hose is or around that area. is that normal?

i know it suppose to leak water if the AC is on, but the AC is not on...

Not a clue, but you are aware that the AC condensor runs when you turn on the windshield defroster setting. Even though it doesnt show the AC running it is still on. Outside of that....a wet dog in there?

High humidity generally occurs in warmer weather as we all know, when you cool that air down, the moisture falls out of the air, or condenses. This is probably just condensation of the air moisture on the colder AC unit.

not generally a problem down here... pretty rare to see anything drip out of the condensate drain tube... I suppose that's what 10-15% RH gets you...

I thought so

Here is the funny part. I have had cars with AC for the past 10 years. I STILL sometimes see the puddle and am like "oh no wtf" then think "oh yeah duh"
