I don't know if they will fit the forks. But I think the fairings will get in the way anyway.

I can mount it to the rear subframe. I talked to tradypizza and he said the track prob would not let me use it on the track. Prob because if I stick it out far off the bike others can not see it. And the fact that it could potentially stab someone in a wreck.

I guess I won't be able to test it until the track day. But I will contact you about getting one soon.

They would probably allow the 1 ft and 2 ft since it doesn't extend past the front wheel....however the 3 and 4 ft would be a no-go...

Yea I think I will get the 2ft. I will take it with me to AF1's track day. Ted said he has worked with you before. So Maybe I can let them test it out.

Also you might try and contact Tucker Rocky. My roommate is a buyer there, thought it looked pretty cool. He doesn't decided the new products though. You need to call up there.

Right on...which Ted?

Hell I might be able to meet you up in Dal at the track with demos and units for sale. When is it?

Sweet about Tucker Rocky...who does he suggest I talk to?...or they can see the demos if they're at the track event.

Tucker will not be at the track event. I would just call them and say you have a product you think you would like for them to carry and you are willing to send them free demos to test if they like. That is how it usually goes.

As far as out track day it will be a private one so you may not have a lot of luck but I would be more than willing to show off one of the mounts when I go to it. (it will be a private track day for my TSBA motorcycle club only like 30 bikes there but the club is huge)

AF1 Aprilia is having track days at TWS June 5-6 I think, and 2 weekends in July, in association with Lonestar Track days.I will be at one of the July track dates.

Ted races for AF1 and he goes by "tardypizza" on TXIC.

That is where I would start. Those guys may be able to test out your product and if they like it sell it. They are the largest Aprilia dealer in the US. Their forum is very busy and goes around the world. I would talk to them before hand and not go posting about it on their board. fyi...........

Either way, be sure to show the Tech guy what you're using when you get the bike tech'ed.

Sportbike club hosted a Dyno night.

Everyone said that dyno read low. Dunno anything about motorcycle dyno but I know the torque insane compared to others.

High HP number of the night was a 2007 MV Augusta F4 with 151whp!

Brandon- When is it a good time to step up to a 1000? I know theres a huge difference between my 600 and a 1000 but is it gonna be something i wont have fun riding? I went to river valley last weekend and was on a cr250 and i did not like the power of it, almost no control. The bike came up in every gear and was not as fun to me as my old rm125. So is the 1000 gonna be like that?

Pretty much if you are talking like a inline jap bike 1000cc.
Let me tell you this. I rode my Daytona for about 3 years put 25k miles on it myself, and only got the Ape because of the insurance claim. If I was you I would get a newer 600. Like a 08rr or something similar. The HP will be close to the same but the bike response will be a lot faster, it will handle better and weight less.

I need to mess with the mount more but here is one to start with:

I don't know if I trust the mount on the axle sliders. But it does hold well. I will have to figure out a way to give it more to grab a hold of.

Also If you only leave one bolt in the aluminum beam to mount the camera it allows you to pivot it. I think if there was a way to pivot the beam and feel safe about it you could get way better shots.

Lemme work on using the single 1/4 20 thread in between the two threads I use for mounting the extension...that will allow a stronger single bold for angling....

...or might send you the different brass fitting I told you about.

The vids look great...really dig the rear center vid!

.

I can use one of the bolts that will allow me to angle it. I don't think the bolt will come out cause of the washers/locker. But with the surfaces being flat the mount bar will slide back and forth easy. I mean I can wrap it in chicken wire to make it work. But I would suggest some kinda adapter. f that other brass fit will help with something like that send it to me and I will mess with it.
