I have UEL headers. I bought them, but they are meant for your model, mine is a GR and you have an 07. If you want them, I'd sell them for what I paid.

Let me know.
will those fit a 2013 impreza (2.0i n/a)?

Don't you have a couple years left on your warranty?

Any noticeable gains or at least improvements in sound from the drop in?

+1. Don't bother spending $40+ on a k&n, the best filter for performance and protection is OEM, it flows plenty.

Any filter you can see through (K&N and a few others) are obviously not good enough to filter the dirt from going into your engine.

I just found a cold air intake for my 2010 2.5 from AVO. 250 for it, wondering if its worth it?

nope. remove the milk jug thing from under the stock airbox and you will max out the amount of air your car can move.

All cons IMO. The point of the Jug is to make the air intake smooth. With the jug removed, the air flow is very unbalanced, and can make the car over compensate with more fuel, causing the car to run rich.

IMO, the best thing to do is save all your money for suspension mods, and really learn your car.. I know its not fast at all, but if you know your limits, as well as the car's, you will have no problem beating some turbo guys up a mountain.

it's a helmholtz resonator designed to quiet the intake system down. that's its only job.

Default Tsudo CatBack Install

1/30/13 I did an install on my 2004 Impreza TS I documented it all at DirtyImpreza.com

here is the link
http://www.dirtyimpreza.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27839&page=2

I bought the exhaust on EBAY

Tsudo Subaru Impreza 2.5L RS 98-05 Catback Exhaust

I paid $269.00 with free shipping. As of 2/1/13 the seller has 4 more (I am not affiliated).

It was a direct fit with the exception of the middle pipe hanger didnt line up but no cutting or welding was needed. Please take a look at my pictures and comment if your interested or share your experience.

2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i - Manual Transmission
CAI type and Cost: Injen CAI $500.00CAD (with labour)
Exhaust type/size Cost: Borla UEL Headers, Cat Pipe, High Flow Cat, Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust. Approx. $1500.00CAD (with labour)
Place of Purchase: Vancouver, B.C.

Likes: Very good power gain. My mechanic stated around 5-7hp for each piece (ie. 5-7 for intake, 5-7 for headers, 5-7 for cat pipe/high flow cat, 5-7 for cat-back exhaust). Total = 20-28bhp

Dislikes: None.

Other Comments: It sounds amazing with the notorious boxer rumble.

5-7 HP from a a catback alone? And you've gone from an EL header to UEL and gained HP? Maybe the Borla is that good?
I may be wrong, admittedly i'm less knowledgable about the older models, but it sounds like there's some HP guesstimation going on here.

Did you get a tune also? If not, I would be talking to your mechanic about getting that sorted ASAP, especially with a CAI....

I'm sure the setup sounds awesome though.

Default 06 2.5i Impreza intake/exhaust upgrade

Anyone know the best exhaust/intake (aircleaner) upgrade for a non-turbo 06 Impreza 2.5i at high (8600 ft) altitude?
