Default 2011 WRX no knock in 3rd but getting knock in 4th

I can't seem to figure out why I'm getting knock in 4th gear and not in 3rd. I have a 2011 wrx with a TP stage 3 tune. The load is the same, every parameter is the same at each rpm of both 3rd and 4th and I'm getting small instances of -1.4 degrees of timing being pulled. Also everytime I reset the map, i wont get knock at all the first time I do a 4th gear pull but every time after that I do. Any ideas?

He can't figure it out and I've already decided I'm going to go with different means for tuning. Erics a great guy but there lacks a sense of ability to tune a car when he's not actually there with the car while tuning it. He actually revised the map after these logs and the knock got worse, went back to his previous revision and got the same knock so it's not the car it's definitely the tune. At stage 3 I kind of wanted to get "pro tuned" anyway.

Absolutely. He does what he does well, but at a point it becomes difficult to tune when the car isn't physically there. Wish I could offer some advice for you. Good luck getting a resolution.

I don't believe they do open source, but IAG and MachV would be great places for protunes in your area.
