I need to choose a performance summer tire...
My Falken Ziex 512s are a great year round tire just as my Pirelli PZero Nero M&S tires were. But with the suspension upgrades and auto-xing I have been doing The sidewalls are just way too soft. A local guy may buy my Ziex tires and I want to get some dedicated summers. I will then run the stockers in the winter time. Performance and stiff sidewall are most important, next is they need to last a little longer than an Azenis tire. And lastly lower the price the better, but I want somethign good. Yeah yeah you gotta pay to play I know! A few I am considering:
Kumho MX- cheap, heard good things, does wear quicker though Bridgestone S03- Heard very good things, very expensive though BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2- Heard good things, not as good for auto x, and noisy tire Eagle F1 GS-D3 (XL stiffer sidewall)- expensive, good grip but reviews say its less responsive Please I am open for any suggestions or input. I know there is no perfect tire and everyone has its pluses and minuses, just trying to choose a good solid tire. I have searced and researched. I just want some personal input from people. Thanks.

I think its really down to the MX and S03. Is the S03 really $60 better per tire?

I've had Goodyear F1 GS-D3s on my Z28 and now on my WRX. They're a nice daily driver but I wouldn't want to take them autocrossing. The sidewalls are too soft. It makes for a nice daily ride but it's not what you want on an autocross course. They grip but they feel a bit "sloppy" (for lack of a better word) they first tuck into a corner.

I am going to be trying the Avon Tech M500's... very affordable at 115 and Luke @TR suggested them for budget minded performance. After that I'll try the KDW 2's but they are a chunk of change at 150 a pop.
