I have searched everywhere for a clean wrx. The ones i checked out before had a crap ton of mods, which apparently makes them worth more money. Luckily i got this one for a good price, 12,000.

It was very hard to find one for a decent price, most of the ones I looked at had over 100k miles on em, and they wanted 13 or more. I'm just glad I got the car i wanted, it is way better than my pos jetta.

Wow man, Beautiful!! You sound just like me, I searched everywhere for a clean WRX, finally found one for 10k, single owner, taken care of with 108k miles. I too even used to have a Jetta, man I could never go back. I love my WRX so much. Love the 04-05 style Subaru ftw!

Nice find man. Just like me and my 03. I found a bugeye, car is in amazing condition. Compression tests were all around 170. Paid 8k. Had 100k miles.

Is it a squeaking or squealing?

It's more of a squeaking sound. It happened yesterday when I had the heat on. Im thinking its a bad belt, im just unsure of the burning smell. I didn't know if someone else had this problem, but I'll take a look at it today.

My 03 makes a "whistling" or squeaking sound when my heat is on sometimes. It only happens until the motor warms up completely. Also, is it on fresh or recirculated air? The burning smell may be getting pulled in from your engine bay.
