Default where to get very high temperature paint?

i need very hight temp paint like pde uses on their uppipes

go to Home Depot and get BBQ grill paint.

Ive used 1200 degree header paint on my exhaust and it flakes off, the BBQ paint is much better.

You can spend all your money on Folia Tec too. Good stuff. VERY expensive.

I don't think that the BBQ grill paint will last either. Remember that the uppipe sees constant temps in the 1500-1600F range.

may i ask what the reasoning behind using the high temp paint on an uppipe? You're better off sending it out to get coated with a thin layer of some kind of heat retentioner ceramic

i never said it was for an uppipe ..i just described the type pf paint PDE uses
