Default ECUFLASH wont read ECU, now car wont start?

I tried to read my ECU VIA ECUFLASH and it would not read it. Just kept saying "Interface closed." so then i tried to start the car and nothing. Electrical turns on and off and the car can be taken in and out of test mode when connecting the green test mode conectors, But the car will not turn over. Any ideas here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Side note: i was able to datalog VIA ROM Raider Before the read and it worked fine.

Same thing happened to me with my cobb ap. try using a battery charger if your voltage level is right around 12v. Cobb told me that sometimes the ecu is sensitive to those levels and requires at least 12. My guess is that it needs to be higher. Ultimately, I sent my ecu into Cobb to get reflashed with the stock map because I didn't have a charger. Bugeye wrx wagon here.

Edit:
Also, if you can't connect it's recommended not to turn the key to off until you connect and exit safe mode. If you interrupt the connection I think u can corrupt the ecu.

Edit 2: hate to break it to you but it sounds like you corrupted the ecu.

If it never actually connected/read, how could it kill the ECU? i could understand if it connected and then i turned it off mid connection, but to not even connect? \

I will put the charger on it tomorrow and see if that helps

Problem solved! Thanks for your help guys. Reseted the ECU and put a charger on it, and it read fine.
