Yup! I finally got it installed today. Adjusting that clutch switch was definitely a pain, but I have big hands so that didn't help much. I still want to push the clutch as much as I used to and it makes me want to scoot my seat back further to make up for the distance in pedal travel. I'm sure I'll get used to it. Would recommend this kit to a friend!

Definately, scoot the seat back at least 1/2".
One day and you'll be used to it.

My mini review.

Received it 1.5 weeks ago, and did not have the tools to adjust the interlock switch. Luckily, I'm the rare cases where no adjustment was needed as my car starts

It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Removes that useless ~1" of clutch travel. For me, it does make shifting quickly much easier. I enjoy the shorter clutch travel as well.

Would I recommend to a friend? Yes! My next local club meet, I'll let others drive my car to test it out.

Would I re-purchase? Probably not (biased as I totaled my bike and bought a new one so money is tight). I'd never remove it, but I can live with the longer clutch travel.

my review:

this is amazing! I enjoy city/traffic driving much more! I definately wish i had this installed a lot earlier. At first i didnt notice much change in the clutch movement, but after i started driving the engagement point was right after i lifted off the clutch.

Tip for the starter interlock adjustment:
After loosening the first nut, you can just turn the 2nd nut with your fingers.

Thanks for this awesome product!

I installed mine and sometimes the car won't start, maybe 1 in 20 times, guess I'll adjust the switch, great product btw. I got mine for $30, kinda alot for a chunk of metal, but def improves driving feel, just not sure how to describe it.

Still rocking mine. I Love it. I took it off to see what it was like to drive without it and it was almost unbearable. I immediately put it back on the first chance I got.

ok I think I gots a problem, its really hard to get into first gear even if I'm at a full stop. If I release my foot from the clutch and press it really hard again it slips into first. This never happened before my d wolf clutch thingy, any thoughts?

This part is awesome! Ever since I got my subaru that clutch slack has drove me absolutely nuts. The first five minutes after I got the part on, it was like a miracle. The car is so much more enjoyable to drive now, that clutch feels SOOOO much smoother!! No guessing with the grab point anymore, that block puts the clutch right where you need it so you can push it to the floor and slide it out perfectly smooth every time. If anyone else here is frustrated with how unsmooth the subaru's stock clutch travel is, this product IS FOR YOU!

Did anyone else find an easier way to adjust the starter swtich. I just can't get the initlal bolt to loosen it. I think it hurts because I am lefty and I can't get a good grip on the bolt, but is there any other way to get access to this bolt or just to make the adjustment?? If you could let me know I would greatly appreciate it!

Problem solved by using a stubby wrench.

Stubby wrench was a god sent for this and makes the install a matter of seconds instead of minutes. I have had the kit for about a month now and its a dream! This makes just everything flow smoother for me and was worth every penny, I highly recommend it and thanks again D-Wolf!
