The last time I was on a mustang, the Stg 2 STi before me made 262whp. I made 304 on RG and trapped 114.

This 4.0RXT should be a 124-126 car on pump, in the stock location. Thats just nuts.
A 430whp full weight EVO IX on CBRD's dyno in which you have to shift into 5th sometimes will trap 125-127mph.

I wonder what will the DOM3.0 RX-T make on the same dyno with the same boost and gas?

I agree but u will have problems on the street with well setup cars . You should be able to run 21psi really and will still be really safe and conservative

I think you should wait, ATP is supposed to release a TS setup as well

The thing is.... Am I even going to notice the difference? This is where I'm stuck. I don't thing the 20whp is going to be noticable.

Do these XT-R's fit as they should due to the revised castings?

I called Blouch this afternoon and they said it would be a couple more weeks. Still finishing up testing. I'm really curious what the 2.5xt-r will do on a 2.0, especially on E85 or race gas.

I'm more curious as to spool time on the 2.5xtr the 3 and 4 do pretty good so the 2.5 should be outstanding

First off....the stock location twin scroll is a good thing....but really not the way to go. Full Race Has TS kits for $4200. The ATP TS turbo is probably gonna be $2200 like the mitsu one is. Then you're gonna have to buy a $700-$1500 TS header......and a 3" turbo inlet, and TGV deletes. After all is said and done you've spent very close to the $4200 for a rotated TS kit.....and your intake is smaller. Rotated is simply the way to go. Having said that i'll probably be going the stock location TS route cause i have to pass visual smog.

heres my email from ATP from November 5th

Hello Ron,

We're definitely moving along and making progress. We hope to have an update on release right at the end of the year.

Thank you!

I agree with you, other then a twinscroll applicaiton would be great for someone wanting something like 350-400whp and if someone already has everything other then the headers of course

This post just blows my mind..... a full weight car with 430whp on CBRDs dyno will run 11.0-10.7 with a decent driver .

Blouch! I would love to see a comparison of the DOM3.0 XT-R and the DOM4.0 XT-R on CBRDs dyno on pump gas and on race gas

True, but IAG was only running a little under 22 psi on that 35R set up, if I remember right, the psi set on these Dom 3.0XT-R was in the neighborhood of 26. There is a big difference there. Physically, you can't tell me that a 2.4 inch inlet will perform that same as a 3.0 inch inlet if all things were equal. Change the wheel out on the 35R and you have something like the HTA 35R that will outperform that all day long.

Don't get me wrong, I really like blouch turbos, I had one on my last car and would consider another one on my car now. It's a great stock location turbo! Something that the subie community has been waiting for! But if you take the same turbo set up and rotate it, it's going to perform better 90% of the time.

Blouch turbos fit really well. The only thing we had to do on my car was grind down the transmission a little because the cold side was hitting it.

Juan, thats a REAL mustang dyno for you. Crazy right. Thats the same mustang dyno I made 304 on and went 12.0

Another 130whp, there's your 10.70 (obviously in theory).

325-335 tops is what you will see on pump for the 3.0

345-355 tops for the 4.0

(sea level, decent conditions)

No the DOM3.0 was at 24psi, I agree with everything else.

Mikey the DOM4.0 is on pump not race gas. CBRD's dyno read about the same as Buschur's dyno thats how I came up with the 11.0-10.70

Was the 304 on pump gas? I really think on race gas a well tune VF39/43/48 should 330whp on BRs or CBRDs dyno. If I remember correctly Buschur made 300whp on 93oct with his WRX and run 12.2 or something on stock RE92 tires

Good to know, thanks for he clarification. Either way, those are impressive numbers for a turbo that size!

Hi, I have an S202 (which is the 2002 JDM STi LE) with the Dom 3XTR and it is a great turbo...it is not laggy at all, and am very impressed even though we only have 90 pump. I can say I was not that impressed with the Dom 3 8cm but converting it to the XTR made all the difference. The car should fly on race gas...I'm sure we can get deep into the 11's when we do the VP C16 tune along with the drag radials. We don't have a 4WD dyno here so don't know the numbers.
