Default Legacy GT 380whp and 389ft/lbs with STi TMIC

Well most of you have seen my post about my 2005 Legacy GT that has basically been converted so that I can run STi type turbos. We finally got it on the dyno with the FP3065R and I got some numbers that I am proud to post up. Took me about an hour to get it all dialed in with the UTEC, we probably could have gotten more out of it but we ran out of time. I am also not so keen on going too much higher with the stock Version 7 STi TMIC.

Here is the chart:

The lower curve is what it put down on the very first pull at 17psi. The final tune was at 24.5psi of boost. The turbo started to spool up a bit slower after we had it on the dyno for a bit and I wasnt sure if it was due to having too many fans on the car or what. Once we took it for a road tune then I found that I had an exhaust leak at the manifold to uppipe connection. I just replaced that gasket prior to putting it on the dyno, and that was the forth one. Other than that issue, the car is absolutely insane!!!

Pump. Tranny should be fine. The clutch did slip one time on the road tune.

With a FMIC it would have been over 400whp easy. That is pretty much the limit on the Version 7 STi TMIC.

With an upgraded TMIC there may have been more power, but with a rotated 35R a FMIC is really the only way to go. I also dont have room to fit anything bigger than the STi TMIC, so the only option is to go FMIC.

Thanks for the compliments!!

Good to see some Leg on the board. I think with some Alk injection you can make more power and still be safe.

I agree that with Water Injection I could have made more power. I would rather have a FMIC plus water injection evenutally.

Thanks for the compliments!!!
