Stock suspension. Only problem is you cant put the tire on when lifted by the weld seam with the rear mud/splash guard on the side skirt...

Will post a few more pics later. Got a plane to catch in a few hours...

Touches when car weight is off suspension... (splash guard removed)

Had to remove this guard to get wheel on. (pic shows suspension compressed by body weight)

Can reinstall if you lift corner with suspension to keep spring compressed.

Shhhh.....

Yes, those are stockers from a Saab. The red really sets off the rest of the care I think. Thanks to distorto for the wheels and the idea to spend even more monies than I wanted to this holiday. However, I think it will be worth it. These make feel safer when running sprinted runs on the gravel of eastern Texas hill country.

More pictures when I get it actually dirty. (not rainy dirty)

Overall I have about 2 inches of lift. WOOHOO!!!

Maybe its time to put out there that I want to find an 09/10 Outback or a Forrester suspension to further the monster I'm going to create.

You're welcome dude. I'm very hesitant to try them on, I loved the red before I stomped the car and I know I'm going to regret selling them.

They look great on your car!

That offset seems excessive... Are his axles/bearings holding up?

Wheels are 15x10" inch wheels from les schwab. dont know the offset or brand. i know they were only $50-60ea. he has a full size spare thats getting mounted on the roof behind the rack. They are also 5X4.5" because the spacers he is running convert the lug pattern.

so far the bearing and axles are holding up ok to the setup. 1 cv boot seems to be pulling apart but they are original to the car and it has 200K so thats not to bad haha.

Hes been getting alot of compliments on the car around town though, the paint is actually chalk board paint and he keeps chalk sticking out of the roof rack bars and by the wipers and people love it.

do the forester trailing arms do a pretty good job of centering the wheels, or should i get the adjustable arms?

The trailing arms are the same. Its the bracket that is different. Adjustable arms is probably the best bet.

The trailing arm mount has 3 bolts, I just crammed 4 or 5 washers underneath the one farthest towards the front of the car. Took no time at all, was free, and has been solid for the past 30,000 miles

If anyone cares for a picture, I can snag one.
