Little late for the answer be we've been averaging probably 15 cars each week. We all do this enthusiastically but casually so faces tend to change with each week.

Side vent on the bumper. 2008+ STi and 2011+ wrx have them. They come primed so they require painting like all of the other body panels you can buy from subaru genuine parts.

Torquespec is it's own thing ... there is always a Saturday meet. Most of the local regulars are not on NASIOC much anymore. We converse in a local facebook forum https://www.facebook.com/groups/167422053337548/

Being from the eastern panhandle and moving to va beach I'd like to join the forum and hopefully have some big meets between the two groups that I know. I have several subie enthusiasts friends that would probably make there way down for special events

By the two groups that you know, do you mean out of town Subaru owners? The Subie meets on Saturdays in Virginia Beach are open to all local and non-local owners, previous owners, and prospective owners of Subarus. Meaning, any kind of car you roll up in wont be judged by anyone, but it's not a meet open to "all cars" we have permission to be in the lot, we keep it daylight hours and model / owner specific to keep out riff raff. No tolerance for honing. There is a Virginia Beach PD car that rolls through every once in a while who just kind of observes. Welcome to the area, and please come out and meet folks, definitely send a request to the Facebook page I threw up a link for (helps if you have Subaru picture set as your profile pic or cover photo)... if not PM me your name and I'll let the admins know you're sending a request.

I've actually got family up in WV more on the Charleston side of the mountains though. Done a few cruises with the WVSuabrus crowd from Morgantown / Charleston.

Doesn't matter what you show up in, come out and meet people. A lot of us are down to wrench and answer questions anytime you need help.

Default Howdy!

Just made an account for this site, yay! Anyway, I'm not a Subaru owner yet but will be around the mid to late August timeframe. I've been to a few of the meets that Billie advertised on the Hampton Roads Subaru Info page on FB...I'm the nerd with the Audi A4 that parks off by the side. Anyway, I'll try and be out for this Saturday's meet! Hope to see you guys there.

Nice wagon Nick. Good to see the thread active again. I'm spoiled out here with the nice weather and roads but get the 91 octane.

Thanks! Got big plans for it... going to try and have it tip top by the end of summer (built 5spd or 6spd swap VF48) its rough going from a 310/330 STi to 210/210 02 WRX. Needs more boosts. Super happy with the find though. Paul F. sold it to me, he's picking up a 2015 WRX

Everyone meets at "the lot" and then some people cruise over for eats. It's not always TJ Flats, but that's been the most regular spot for the last year or so because they welcome the business.

So are we meeting at 6 at the rain/no rain location or doing the torquespec drive? To add, are we going to the proposed Jenro's location?

TorqueSpec meet/drive is still a go. Hopefully a few of your guys can make it out. Even if it's just for a little.

I'll be able to do the 6pm meet, but not the 4pm drive. It's been raining pretty good up here in Yorktown.
