Default Official: Nissan not coming at this year’s SEMA Show

Quote:
Last year’s SEMA Show was marked by vacant show floors as the economic downturn continued to worsen and established brands pulling out of the show one by one, so much so that the event organizers welcomed other companies that would otherwise not have been welcome if only to fill those gaping areas left by the major brands. It was officially made public by the Japanese carmaker last year that it would be present in only one show per continent within the fiscal year (April 1 – March 31) and because SEMA is considered by Nissan as a major event in North America, it won’t be showing at the 2009 aftermarket extravaganza. Nissan said that it won’t be involved in any more auto shows in the US this year. The next appearance of Nissan in the US will come late next year.
