Default Strange boost cut, surging idle

Hi all,

Seems I only get on here when I have a problem or want to read about mods. Anyhow, I recently replaced my rails/injectors/lines/pump. Replaced the pump first and tested and things were fine. Fast forward a month of trial and error getting fuel line fittings to work properly to yesterday. Make a base map using the DW injector numbers, remove the fuel evap codes, and start the car. Bingo! Starts right up. Rpms level out as it warms up and the car seems to surge from idle up, then down, almost dying, then revving and on and on. I read that the bigger injectors can cause rough idle so I take it for a drive, and at about 2.5psi of boost it’s like the pressure is all released and it stalls. Not a total engine quit, but all boost is lost. Any thoughts? I have no check engine lights initially but after a couple of cold starts it throws misfire codes. I am thinking I reconnected something improperly but I’m not sure what. I’ll probably remove the intercooler and maybe intake manifold shortly to try to figure it out.

Injectors are dw1500s and the pump is a 340lph dw. I removed the evap system as well.

Thanks in advance!

Default I’m a dummy

I forgot to torque down the intake manifold after putting it back on post-rail install. Car is running fine now, just have to tune it.
