At least give us a proper offset from the factory! The sunken wheels look underneath a massive bloated greenhouse is getting old haha.

What does this mean?
No wagon or hatch knock says he wants practicality indicating a more mature buyer. Too big and CVTs across the board indicates he wants fun...aka a younger buyer. Which way were you thinking with that question? Between the ages of 21 (my first WRX) and 35 (my last wrx), I'd side with him on both of those topics. |

I see Subaru as being very hot these days, and getting even hotter with all the new models coming out. Obviously, not the same as you... |

Why do you guys hang out on this forum if you hate Subaru so much?? Are you jealous of their success, or what?
Again, don't know what your terms of reference are, but guessing that you are over the hill boy-racers, or at least once were wanna be's. I hang out here because I want to learn about new Subaru products, but I gather that is not your purpose. |

There's a mix of people on this forum. Some are subaru fanboys. Some are performance car fanboys. Some are just plain into cars. Some are into hatches, some sedans. Some into manuals, some into automatics. It's a fun conglomeration of people.
In many ways, Subaru has dropped doing the things that brought some of us to the brand in the first place. |

That's not to say they won't come up with new performance machines, too. I'm sure we will see new iterations of that 2.4 engine down the road. But I think they have only so much development money to spend. And they need to be sure they don't get left behind in the EV game, or autonomous driving. |

when the WRX came out in the US in 2002, it was a performance bargain. not so much anymore. |

Re the WRX, I have always thought they were a little overpriced for what you get in the car. Now it is just a lot worse. You have to be a real performance nut to want to pay for that... But will be interested to see the production version of this STI concept. Will the attraction be looks, performance or price? Can't be all of those with Subaru,... haha. |

There are benefits both ways. Couldn't fit something in my Legacy's trunk; so, went home and got my '08 STI. Fast forward, went on a trip with my '09 WRX sedan and was happy our stuff was secured in the trunk. ALL of our luggage. Did suck if we wanted something. We couldn't just reach over the back of the seat. I "prefer" a hatch. |

Feel sorry for the dog. You'll be alright though. Just like this person.
There were no animals in the back of this car. Luckily. |
