Looks really good. I only have one statement to make, if you wanted the flush look, why did you not just get a wider rims so you can also put wider tires giving you better handling and traction? Just wondering. Looks very nice though.

I wanted to stick with the STi BBS, as well as stay away from putting extra stress on the hub that comes with a lower offset rim.

Thanks for all the comments everyone!

Maybe time for an update?

Here's a couple teaser pics of dirty snowboard mode, I'm planning a shoot this weekend to get some new pics so I'll update then as well.

Really wishing I hadn't clicked this thread. Teh wagon looks great OP. Great enough to have me seriously thinking about undergoing that major suspension upgrade as well. GREAT stance!

Just one question: How does the car ride now with the springs compared to when it had the stock and STi suspension?

The handling it almost perfect right now. Ts a little bumpy because of the stock struts don't quite match the spring rates of the EPIC springs, but that'll change when I get the DSpecs. Comparing the STi springs to the EPICs, the EPICs ride noticibly better in everyday driving due to their progressive spring rates. The STi Pinks were pretty stiff and harsh on stock struts. The biggest difference was in the sway bars though. They really tighten up the handling a lot. I wish I would have done them earlier.

All in all the suspension work I've done has resulted in a VERY fun car to drive, although I can't really tell rght now with the uber-non-responsive snow tires I have on the car.

If you got any more questions, PM me!

Took a few pics of the dirty Stealthwagon in the rainy Pacific Northwest. Here's a couple that turned out. RedHotLama (Ken) took a bunch more as well so I'll post up those better pics as soon as he uploads them.

Enjoy!

Winter mode!

Thanks man....don't see gold on UGM very often, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Love your wagon man.

Are they wider/sedan LCAs?
Any ill effects? (or alternatively, any noticeably postive ones?)

The combo of the wider LCA/lat links and stiffer sways make the car feel reeeeeally stable around corners. No issues so far, aside from having to roll the rear fenders to fit the wider stance.
