^^ Holy crap, that was my 1000th post. I though there would be some sort of celebration or something, thanks NASIOC, hahaha. Maybe add balloons or confetti?

Haha, yeah it's in but I have been remodeling my kitchen so I haven't been able to write up anything about it.
It's a really nice radio and with a jailbroken iPhone you can really open up it's potential.

I have live internet, mail, text, youtube, etc... Kinda cool!

Cool!! I wonder if you can just use the video 2 input as a source for the front camera. It'll probably be the quickest and easiest option than a video switcher. The rear camera option to turn on is kind of a pain unless you're actually in reverse. If you want to turn it on while driving you need to hit about 10 buttons, sucks..

I hear that, about moving. Nice kit

I'm really interested in tackling the interior the way you did with the Alcantara, probably not all of the pieces you did, but I'd like to start with the trim around the shifter and cup holders. Any advice? I haven't read every single post in this thread but I recall you saying that you've taken apart tons of interiors before, so I'm sure that helped.

Thanks man,

The center console is a good place to start. Many members have asked about the shifter surround and it's really easy if you have a steamer. Doing any Alcantara work without one is a pain in the a$$. If you use contact cement (which I recommend over spray can) remember to cover both sides (plastic part and back side of Alcantara), wait a couple minutes, than start to cover the piece. Use the steamer on tight corners and trim the edges when done.
I have a video a couple pages back on using the steamer on the dash. It's simple once you get started, you'll see.

Good luck!!

Ok bro,
Two weeks is long enough for the kitch-redo.
We need another "overland fix"!!
Really eager to see the Z140 write-up/install.
What else is req'd (list of parts etc...)?
How'd you tackle the ipod connect in the center console?
E-brake bypass?
Back-up camera?
C'mon man...

Okay... I know I've been M.I.A. for quite some time but I just got back from getting married and a short honeymoon. The kitchen is mostly done but I've moved onto making a new laundry/bathroom.

My car is now being used as a pickup truck filled with construction debris but doing it well!

All this in my car to the dump

All those nails... terrifying to have in your car. Plus insulation. Itchy.

Thanks man, I've been quiet for the past couple weeks on here but I'll have more to come soon. New exhaust, DP and some other toys for the car.

Thanks for hanging out!
