GSC S2 cams who's running them?
Who's running the GSC stage 2 Cams and how you like them? Also did anybody had any valve to piston clearance issue with them at full avcs advance?
I want to use Manley Pistons and D25 heads....

You should clay your pistons to see how much AVCS you can safely run with them.
I ran 30 degrees on mine with D25 heads in the past before the cams grenaded |

i have them in a couple builds, one specifically is using weisco pistons with GSC S2 and a 6262 with the vband back housing. I didnt need more then 15-17 degrees avcs to spool it up though.. cams run really nice.

how big of a turbo are you running that you think you will need 30 degrees of avcs to make it usable? I dont even think i was running that on my 40r.

I would say the S2 is streetable. The S3 would deff loose a lot more lowend-midrange around town.

A lot of people are running S2 cams on the street.
You can run S3 cams on the street, but as said, I'm sure low end response will be poor unless you get the revs up there and keep them up there. But the lumpy idle will sound very cool |

I have JDM S2 cams and they are very streetable. Idles almost like stock at 800 rpm. I have run up to 50 deg AVCS advance (crank degrees) no problem.
