Default Stage 2 engines in stock!

We offer an extensive line up of options for people looking to repair, replace or build theirs. We have access to superior OEM pricing for those looking to replace their engine components with original new Subaru equipment. Additionally, we have high volume discounts with the top manufactures of engine components to guarantee the best pricing out there.

Each year we build and tune several hundred engines a year with great success.

We have proven our engine builds in hundreds of daily driven cars, all across the US. Even a few cars in Germany on the Autobahn, Pikes Peak international hill climb, successful finish in 2012, 1st place in 2011, and 2nd in 2010.

Also our engine is featured in the fastest STi in texas:

At this time we are only going to offer engines in stock or on hand, so selection will be limited for now, if you want something unique or specific to order just shoot us a PM.

We have also been working closely with Arias to create value added piston options. They are already very solid pistons; however we have added finishing touches to create a quieter and longer operating performance engine.

Stage 2 Engine:
New:
Case halves (honed)
OEM heat treated crankshaft
Manley H-Beam rods
JE FSR Pistons
ACL Race bearings

All components are weighed, cleaned and tolerances double checked by our engine builder throughout the assembly process to guarantee quality. Afterwards it is immediately sealed in plastic for clean storage until it arrives with its new owner.

This engine is rated for use up to 500whp/500wtq.

Total cost $3600 plus shipping.

Shipping charges will vary by delivery location, please ask any and all questions to verify this is the product for you.

We also offer a full line card of manufactures and are very competitive on pricing due to the high volume of products used annually in our engine building program. Just let us know what you are looking for and we will meet or beat any of our competition.

All orders/questions must be submitted via PM for accurate and prompt replies.

The price above is for a new shortblock, not a rebuild. Rebuilding one usually costs more after you count labor to tear down, blueprinting, machining, etc. I'm actually saving up for one of these bad boys right now. MUCH less headache and downtime.

FWIW, other places have quoted me $4500+ for a forged piston/rod rebuild reusing my crank, block, and oil pump. That did not include pulling or installing shortblock. That was if I pull my own motor and bring it to them. Then consider the days or weeks to have it properly machined, transporting to/from, machine shop lead time, assembly, etc.

Ask if they'll warranty labor if you provide short block. Worst case scenario they say no but it'll be fair for both of you.

Total labor cost $1700 plus fluids and gaskets, etc. We can usually have it turned around in a week or two depending on our level of volume.

1. Tunes don't drink oil. Motors not in top shape do however.
2. You want modified injectors, don't complain about modified outcome. You want clean and consistent injectors, buy them.
3. How familiar are you with TX tax law? Do you know the intricate details of AWDTuning's chart of accounts or revenue flow? Few things aren't taxable like fuel (taxed before end-user gets it) and labor. Just because their line item says "out of state" doesn't mean they're dodging taxes.

Was literally going to post this almost to the t, thanks for getting it out of the way. I literally LOL'd at "the tune drinks oil", that's a new one, hadn't heard that before. Dude obviously didn't do any research about modded injectors, it has been, and always will be, a crapshoot. It has nothing whatsoever to do with the way that they are "dremeled".

I'd also like to know what any of that has to do with a stage 2 motor from AWD...

To keep this thread a little on topic, I've recently started a build utilizing one of these motors, can't wait. However, i probably won't be posting an update in here, it'd most likely go to the AWD reviews thread, since that's where it belongs and i understand how to nasioc.

Right, n00balicious....

For those interested in Keith's tuning, I ran 60k+ miles on his stage2 tune. Not a single hiccup during that time. No misfire codes, no lean spikes, no knock, same mpg as stock, and no idle issues.

So where would you go to get work done then? Please enlighten us with your vast knowledge and experience of drinking oil with a tune.

Also, funny thing...my modified injectors have been great and have never seen more than 85% IDC...even when I was on my 350awhp 20g set up. But you know if I was going to go with a case of "I know what Im doing and going to bitch about making customer injectors cause I know my stuff so well and am obviously not trying to cheap out over a build cause I know that when you cheap out on parts you end up getting cheap results" I too would have bought some actual injectors to support my build.

But then again, you know that tunes drink oil. And you clearly have vast knowledge of the inner workings of the billing in their shop and all the knowledge of tax codes and such in Texas.

Then again youre going to school us on injectors and how shotty work they do when you cant even figure out how a TMIC works, or maybe you should complain more about your car not working when youre out and about beating up on it at a track, because running a factory car at the track with "10,000 hard driven miles" with no preparation of it other than a tune and some e85, thats a glorious idea. Cause since you know so much you know that the stock internals on a wrx motor are not exactly the best, and like any factory car, are never meant to ex cede more than what the manufacturer prepared it for. And anything after that or modifications falls down to the owners responsibility in preparing the car for such power and making sure its in shape to handle it. And you rely on your tuner to safely handle the power of the car, which it seems like keith did as you stated he didnt push the car that much because he knew the car would not handle it with the modifications you have done.

So please. Go on. But make it quick, I need to go put more miles on my awdtuning motor and tune thats been running great for the past 30,000 miles of daily driving and hooning around.
