Default WTB:Stock used tire/tires?

A razor blade took one of my stock tires out and the others have about 50-60% tread left. Does anyone have a used stocker (Potenza re92) with about this much tread left or just a cheap set of 4 matching?

you'll need to replace all 4...driving on mis-matched (+3/32nds difference) can damage the car

But if someone has one that has roughly the same wear, i'll be ok, right?

is your car a 5 speed? or AT?

5 speed... slight variants in the tread will not affect the car so dramatically...

AT.. you want to make certain all tires are the same

either way, it really is a good idea to find 4 evenly matched tires... whether they be new or new-used.

hope you find something !

I definitely have a cheap set. Came with the car when I bought it. They are Les Schwab specials. Brand name Champiro, whatever the hell that is. I think the tread left is pretty good, but they are not much good in the rain. To be clear, I do not like them, and would let all 4 go for $75 plus the cost to dismount. Are you in a hurry? I haven't actually lined up a replacement set yet. I make no promises on what you will think of the performance, but the tires are functional, so might serve your purpose.

Thanks, but I went ahead and bought a new set.

Only reason I wanted to go used was that I was worried that this would happen with an almost new set and I'd be shelling out again.

Les Schwab said that they will usually be able to find something or give me credit on the tires if it happens again.
