..'cept i don't have one(came with out it) it was a Geogia car-anybody know what it takes in Georgia to smog a wrx?

You should ask this in your local forum where people are more familiar with the laws in your state. However for CARB you'll probably need to put all the stock parts back on, very little if any aftermarket stuff is CARB approved and no exhaust is legal in any state if it eliminates or modifies any cats.

..i found an up pipe and down pipe w/cats already on this site(what a site) no biggie. I've been playing the smog game for ever but this is my 1st wrx. had every other subie including xt and svx and rx and tx and bx and bs....

I wouldn't worry about the uppipe since that will be very hard for them to visually inspect. The cat in the uppipe only helps with cold emissions. Once the car is warmed up, that cat does nothing. Changing your exhaust back to stock should be all that you need to do.

Of course, I don't live in CA (thank god), so I may not be 100% accurate.
