Default Ken Block at Northstar-at-Tahoe shooting footage for upcoming video

Apparently he was out there 4/8 or 4/10 getting another batch of Suby-at-terrain-park footage. Nothing on the mighty internetz yet. Anyone seen or heard? My buddy is a groomer there and left me a voicemail 4/10 that there was a rally driver in a Subaru tearing all over the place. Supposedly even in the halfpipe.

i can't believe he found a resort in NA that let him do it

then again the destination ski resorts should be taking any $ they can get. The industry was down by 20% this year

Guessing here, but maybe Jib-boom is a run at Northstar that has whoops and other freestyle features ? Ken Block better throw on a couple tall T's and stretch them to his knees so he fits in with all the park rats .

no, i think he ought to do the jersey look with Skull Candy headphones to fit in...

secretly, i wish i was a park rat. i suck at riding park features.

He started DC shoes, right? i'm sure he has put in his fair share of working his tail off all day and night. How old is he anyway?

wiki says hes 42.

and jojo i dont know where you ride, but if you frequent snoqualmie as i do, the park gets annoying after a short time. theres nothin like a bunch of kids wearing jerseys over there jackets with super wide stances and rounded off edges, gear checkin you in the lift lines to see who's wearing a more expensive jacket and goggles

on topic though, i wish i had the opportunity to drive a prepped rally car on ski slopes/ex marine bases/ and off motocross jumps

i ride at snoqualmie all the time actually. just wish i was a park rat so i had another option for riding when the snow gets crappy. i don't know if i fit in, my pants are baggy, but i don't have the skull candy headphones.

he's 42? wow, i thought he was younger than that.

sweet! thats usually where i go boarding.

The season technically ends next weekend and from what ive heard, the snow kinda sucks already. Its not like any damage he does to the slopes will affect the slopes next year.

Can I rightfully assume that he will be using this: http://www.autoblog.com/2009/04/03/v...ion-leaks-out/ during the filming of the video?

Perhaps Subaru could sell that to the military as a new, economical transport.

Probably wouldn't have seen much, it was pretty low-profile from what I understand. After closing, emptied the hill, no publicity, slow time of year when the snow is crap, etc. Gonna interrogate my groomer buddy (that was working and saw some of it) monday, I'll report back

i'm suprised they have not made a subie playground at the DC mountain lab in Utah for filming. they can build anything, its private land owned by DC(Ken's second home).
