The founders of TSAF were all from the same line company within the battalion. They've actually done a pretty good job upholding their mission statement. I'll give them that much.

To stay OT: nothing special, just driving up from Chicago in awesome weather.

Anyone mind if I take a go at whoring out my pictures a little? First time really giving this whole shooting thing a shot. I will not EVER claim to be a pro at shooting OR editing...but hope these are still good to some...

Subliminal message in this one...

Sorry if it's too many pictures...thanks for comments and critiques...

Thanks guys. My buddy did most of the shooting with me finding spots and giving him ideas. I'm not that good at figuring out the ISO and exposure stuff yet. Playing with settings more lately and getting the hang of it.

I did all the editing and thought I might get crap for the weird colors or something, I just wanted to change them up a bit. I have a few other favorites from that night of shooting, with your guys okay I'll post the last 3 or 4 of them.

All I use is a Nikon D40x and iPhoto on my MacBook, not the best set up but I have no need for anything crazier. Seriously though, thanks for the compliments, at least I'm doing something right.

Pictures look good. Post with confidence. And you can never post up too many pictures. All of you're are different so post them all!

As far as camera stuff goes in the end its the lenses that make the biggest difference. If you haven't used a tripod yet go and buy one.

If you see all my picture. All of them are edited in aperture so don't knock it! Plenty of things that can be done. Go to apple and download some preset adjustments that you can Simply click on to edit your pictures instead of messing with curves and etc..

Now lastly the iso and exposure. If you can help it try to keep iso at 250 or less. When I shoot with a tripod I keep it as low as it goes. I have a Nikon d5000. For exposure use the exposure meter the camera has. It will easily show you what needs more or less exposure. And finally shoot everything in manual. Learn what the camera does and why.

And nice wrx. How do you like those Kdw2 tires?

Pm me for questions mad go post up in the photography thread. You will get taught a lot there! Keep it up!
