06 WRX Motor Rebuild?
Hi I'm rebuilding a motor to through in my 06 wrx. I spun a bearing on my old block and i just finished buying a new sti short block. I'm Planning on bulding up this motor and going all out. I have already purchased wiesco pistons. But what my question is I'm going to be using my stock heads but i'm planning on doing some work on them to. Does anyone know the weakness of the 06 wrx heads and can you replace the valves, springs, and retainers, and leave the stock cams?

I would contact AR Fabrications in VA. They are using 06 wrx heads on their 600+whp WRX.
How did you manage to spin a bearing btw? |
