Default nasioc needs a "crazy deals" section

ive seen this on some other forums, where users can post up if they have found a crazy deal somewhere. i think it would be awesome if we could get one going

We have this on RS25.com called "Hot Links" and it's kinda nice.

sounds like a good idea, especially for private sellers who need things gone fast because of money, etc.

Sounds like a good idea to me, but it would have to be controlled

Wouldn't that attracts many unregistered vendors advertising?

i will volunteer my time to regulate this category if nasioc decides to let it happen
i will personally investigate all the links i can, and lock up anything that isnt a hot deal
vendors would not be allowed to post, it would just spam it up too hard
chances are, if they have a closeout then a member will post it up anyway

Would the "deals" be related to subaru stuff, or anything?

Are we talking like a deal website where people post things they find cheap, ala.. fatwallet or bensbargains? Or are we talking another private classifeds section for people to post anything subaru related? And I'd have to ask, if the later, what would be the benefit over what we have now.

no it definitely wouldnt be for private members to sell their own stuff

it would be similar to those deal finding websites, but exclusive to subaru parts, accersories, or other car related things a subaru owner might need
i understand that it might be hard to find true hot deals that are that specific, but even more a reason to have this section, because its really hard to find them all on your own
