Default Dogs medication Nesic dog owners where you at?

So has anyone purchased from http://www.joespetmeds.com ? they seem to have an extremely low price on the Advantix that I want to get for my dog. It should be good to cover them until September right? since the weather is going to cool down by then and all the ticks/fleas will be gone.

Talk to tro8. He's also a vet, and I remember him saying something about how the medication that you get from the websites isn't quite the same as the stuff you get from a veterinarian.

Well I live in a condo and walk him about 2-3 times a day in a nearby grass land. So it shouldn't be that bad for him.

Give your doggie a bath in Flea Soap, and keep him submerged (from the neck down), so the ticks will either swim to the surface (so they can breath) or will try crawling up his neck where you can comb them out.

When your done be sure to reward your dog.

Yup my vets tells us this every year. Ticks generally only go away if the temp goes below freezing for 48 hrs or more. If it goes above freezing for a few days they come right back. As we all know around here the temp can vary greatly in the winter so ticks never really go away. My vet recommends that we use tick treatment year round.
