Default Subie in car fire at Carlsbad airport?

I was watching the Fox11 news (Los Angeles) and saw a torched Impreza in one of the stories. The car was parked near a white shed, and the fire was started by a plane crash. According to the story, 4 died in the crash, all on ground were ok. The tail lights and rear bumper were melted, so I could not tell what year the car was, it was definetly 02+. I hope owner is ok and not a NASIOC member.

Ben Biley, an account manager from San Diego, said he was in his office in the building next to the storage facility that was hit and heard what sounded like something clipping the top of the building, followed by a loud boom he said sounded like a cannon.
He looked out his window and saw a beach ball-size hole in his window and his brand new Subaru in flames.

It's such a small world ... the pilot of that plane is an Open Road Racer who will be greatly missed by that Community.

My condolences.

The Carlsbad airport is a tricky place to land because of the big hump in the runway. It looks like it just ends way too soon.
