I am surviving off of freelance at the moment but I would love to go to the dentist again. So if anyone knows of any fulltime positions with basic benefits in the broken down, busted up, Graphic Design industry, Let me know!

Later,

Yeah that was mine. Were you there? Mok has been my hero for many years now. I think I could have presented his bio without having read anything.

That dude is right on the money and was exactly the frustrations I have been dealing with for the past 6 or 7 years. I look forward to the new AIGA directive.

Dude. Richmond S.U.C.K.S. That about explains it. I'm doing my own thing, building relationships and hopefully enough clients to start a shop.

Are you coming to the coffee thing friday?

that would be rad to start up a gig, get clients from outside the area. DC has tons but they still have their problems. coffee thing friday, not sure, saturday night is open for me, not sure about friday night. it's the meet at BandN right?

Mok was cool but we got there a little late and had to stand in the back, these morons kept talking so we got frustrated and left.

Richmond is soooo freakin tough right now, beginning to think it's not just design related either.

DON'T MOVE TO RICHMOND IF YOUR LOOKING FOR WORK!!!!!!

sorry i've had that built up for awhile.

A position is open at my company, in our word processing department, must have experience mostly with MS Word, we also use ArborText, Excel, not sure what else. The position is open to anyone with experience, but I think we usually hire women for the position. Starting salary is most likely from $45k and up. We're a government contractor mostly for the Navy. If anyone is interested send me an email for more info, [email protected], or visit our website at www.ddlomni.com , hope I can help someone out.

HELP

I'm in the market for a job now. Our company downsized from 45 to 8. I'm still working there a few days a week but not even sure how long that will hold out...

Anyway I'm a network admin with Win2K and some Unix. Good on networking LAN/WAN, exchange, dns, apache, iis, arcserve and alot more. If anyone has anything I live in Waldorf and will commute to DC or Northern VA. All past employers have been very happy with my work and I've been everywhere at least a year, current job going on 2 1/2.
