have first hand experience with v3's, i don't know why you would not get the v3's! the only issue is that they do NOT come with top hats.

rancer, looking clean. same with the rest!

i really like those window air hard things. do they paste on? how are they on the door? debating pulling the trigger, they are relatively cheap compared to the JDM ones.

also, why would you do all that work to make that perrin inlet fit, only for basic stage 2...seem useless. oh and IT IS THE BIGGEST PAIN IN THE ASS. did one on a friends 07 sti when we were doing her DOM3.0 install. hated life...

there are MANY thread but i find it would be easier and better to do it like this.

you will need a candle, lighter,spray paint for the lettering, paint for the badge itself.

take off the badge wipe it down with ALC and spray the letters the color you want them to be, don't worry about over spray.

let dry.

take a candle, melt some wax and pour it into the lettering so that it fills it. scrape the extra off so that only the lettering is filled in. then paint the rest of the badge the color you want it to be.

let dy.

remove wax form lettering. BOOM, it will be very clean, no need to try and put a brush, tooth pick, or pen into the tiny letter holes.

i didn't do this, i thought of this after i bought the R205 badges...always happened to me like this, i get something and then think of a way around it

my wheels are off to powder tomorrow. who is excited? MEEEEEEEEE

anyone have a great deal on some 275/35/18 summer tires?

the visors just stick onto the window trim via 2 sided tape, i've had mine for a few months, they are on there pretty good.

and for the wax, sounds like a good idea, definitely a lot better than tearing out your hair trying to tape off the lettering.

When I did my Perrin inlet tube on my 2011 STI, I spent about 1 hour total. It's really not even 1/2 as bad as I thought it was going to be. Worst part was that the factory clamp for the BPV tube was facing downwards at a bad angle. I didn't remove the intake manifold.

Money really. I want some nice coil overs but i'm on a college budget *parents won't let me get a job freshmen year* so i don't have 2500 to spend. I would be willing to give up some adjustments for less price with a good ride quality still

I would love to just paint the letters, though, and leave the badges silver.

Better yet, I like how one member fabbed a smooth plastic piece for his STI. THAT is the cleanest badge yet.

2011 wrx, wrb limited.... has a CXR500, fmic, ewg on e85 made 405 whp/415 wtq at 24 psi. I ran an 11.9 at 120 with a 1.8 60', spinning 265/35/18 potenza RE760s on 18 psi due to some boost creep issues. hopefully with some simple mods and a little bit of weight reduction i can hit 11.5 this summer. car now has non STI non-RA gearset.

back when i first bought the car, sept. 2010... i do believe i was the first to lower it like i did on a 2011. These wheels where SSRs 18x9.5 +37 on JIC coilovers.

yep. pain in the artichoke. but worth it IMO. i did see an increase in spool and a little bit more power. it also increases the sound of the intake *not a + to everyone* and the stock blow off has that slight flutter sound to it too now under high boost. i picked it up used for a steal so i jumped on it.
