Awesome. I briefly considered the S60R as a next car, but I heard the suspension was a little boring. How does changing the springs affect the car? I thought the car had the ability to change "modes" with a switch, like stiff or soft suspension. Is that all controlled in the struts and not the springs, and does changing the springs affect the dynamic suspension?
Also: Evolve S60R want to touch the heiney |

I have a friend who's into Volvos (he has an 850). IMO, the S60R is more classy-looking than the sportier-looking STi, but I absolutely love both cars. Too bad I can only dream about them for now. Congrats on a sick ride.

does the stock s60r have the twin calipers or is that the evolv upgrade? either way i always thought the s60r was a sleeper. 300 hp and a volvo badge youll always surprise people.

Hey guys.
Thanks so much for the compliments. One thing that suby owners are known for ! I had a 04 Sti white/gold I posted pics of all my mods over 1 year ago.
The suspension is actually amazing. Yes it stiffens the damper on the shocks so u can track the car and also have a smooth comy ride. I will post interior pics I got Navy blue interior leather. The seats are sick comfortable I would say one of the best in the bussines. The interior was designed by Maserati .I wouldn't say it handles like a boat but out of the box it does need some suspension work. My added springs and sway bars make this handle really well..I would say comparible to my stock Sti suspension. I have a 0-125 mph video I made. I'll post it later Here is one more Pic Interior |

You know..
They are giving these away. Not many people know about them and rather drive a Bmw Or Audi. It's really a amazing car for the $. You can pick one up for $37K and honestly get luxury, performance and rarity. I looked at the S4 being that it's NA V8 couln't really make more power I didn't think it was worth the extra $14K andthe M3 besides being a 2 door and RWD is changing next year and also didn't seem worth the extra $10k. FYI- A exhaust/downpipe /ecu and intake bumb this car to 380hp! With the chip alone I walked my freinds SMG vert M3 (have the video) but won't post here.
anyways.. they call it a wealthy mans WRX in Road & Track. I still miss the RAW power of my Sti! No traction control crap , nor compromises just Power! But I guess I just had to grow up for now.. |

IIRC it placed 7th out of 8 in that comparison test... IMO I would have gotten an S4 but w.e. floats your boat. btw, take a pic of the fmic. I looked at it at the auto show, black and hidden, but it's pretty big. I love that interior... it's like stealth blue. how's the clutch pedal? I read the engagement is weird. |
