The S4 starts at $46K...the S60R at just under $40K, so there's a significant difference in price.
My buddy has a black on navy '05 S60R....I love it. the more I drive it, the more I like it. The front seats are excellent & the 3-way suspension really makes a difference.

These are hAwt. Just went to the Volvo site to get a better look at these. Very nice vehicle, especially if they're dealing them the way they are per zigger's post. Only thing I wish they had were projector HIDs.
Nice ride, dude - congrats!!! |

definitely an awesome car... I had the chance to beat on one at the loca dealer last summer, and could not (and still cannot) believe how good the brembos are on the thing... Just nuts..
It feels like a substantial car, but since the turbo comes on rather quickly (compared to a stock wrx setup), it really does not feel bad at all. Interior is the pimp (Zigger, I would have gone with the tan interior for the win!), and the active suspension system is what I wish someone would offer on the aftermarket for our cars. At the press of a button, you have limo style ride. Press another, and you have it almost as stiff as riding on coilovers... It is just very interesting. I think a wealthy man's wrx really is the way to describe them after I drive it... It felt a little more grown up, but the fun factor was there... i definitely would not mind one at all... In black.... |

Awesome car man. How does the AWD system compare to the STi? From what I understand, it uses a halidex system where 95% of the power is sent to the front wheels under normal driving conditions. When slippage occurs, power is transfered to any wheel with traction. Can you feel any torque steer or front wheel drive effects with the S60R?

What kind of car is that? I seriously considered getting one, but I kept hearing about all of the reliability issues that Volvo has been having.
