thanks. Well I have an extended warranty good for 3 years! but with a 100 deductable on each claim I could still go bust!

reached my 90K on my 97 A4... need my timing belt done, wheres a good place...

BTW, bry, did you see the dyno chart in "news and rumors"?

the HP and torque are wayyyy up there... on your forester.

What engine is in it?

If its a V6 then say good by to 1k. Get the waterpump changed and both tensioners and tensioner balls. While they are under get the tensioner seal replaced too.

cost you 1,200 but it save you another 800 in labour later on.

it takes 9hrs + to change the timing belt on my V6. The have to pull the bumper, rads, headlights and fans.

yeah i know its 1100...

just looking for a good reputable spot to take it.

its a 1997 2.8 12v v-6 quattro...

I would LOVE to sell it and get another subaru.... its nice and all, but toooooo porky to be fun....

take it to an Audi dealership!

I had a third party dealership do it and they caused an aditional 2k worth of damage. Ok they paid for it but it would have been less of an assel if a audi dealership did it in the first place
