I've said it before, you're doing my dream subie build!!! Probably never gonna happen though, lol.

Awesome work! Love seeing how it is coming along!

Good news guys!!

I took the car to my day job yesterday and put it on the alignment rack. It's a new snap on and measures cross diagnose, wheel bases, and even tire tread. .

I passed.. I'm .3" off cross diagonally

I dont think it will cause any issues.. the machine considers anything less then a half inch to be okay.

Time to finalize all the rear suspension mounts.. box it all in and then getting working on fuel wiring and brakes.

Oh and I have to find or make a rad...

Anyone know of a rad that's less then 2ft wide and less then 1 ft tall with the same in out ports as a Subaru?

I been looking but no luck so far.

Did a little mock up on the rear diff and mounts yesterday.. stayed home today to watch playoffs.. Go Birds!! 🦅🦅

Here are some crappy pics.. going to be using some OEM bolt holes where the brat diff originally mounted and just cutting up the wrx T bar to fit.

I also welded the rear strut tops fully in and trimmed the wrx wheel tubs a little more from the towers. Will be refitting the brat wheel tubs back around the wrx strut towers soon.

Lots of fab work and welding to be done in the rear end.

What's up guys!

I made a little video the other day talking about and showing off the car... would appreciate if you guys would watch it and leave some feedback.. trying to judge if I should do a build series on there as I finish the car or if it will just take too much time to film while working.

Lmk what you guys think! Thank you!

And sorry for the screen being cropped I will fix that on the next vid

Thank you!! Share with any of your friends that might be interested! I'm gonna keep making videos.. probably only be 1 or 2 a week since I can only really mess with it over the weekends but better then nothing.. I want this build to be documented properly.

You know, you may have one of the rarest Brats they made, regardless of the swap. The 82 GL with the Cyclops eye is not too common in Brat form. It was a one year front end and the center pass light aka Cyclops eye was only offered in GL trim.

Your build is f'ing awesome BTW.
I did a mild build on mine with an EJ22, DR 5spd, 4in lift, re-drilled 6lug hubs. Makes me want to redesign my build to incorporate more EJ parts
