So nice! I have been thinking about getting those S5 vents for my car. Please do a write up on how you install them! I also really want one of those light pods too! Are you worried about it blocking your air flow to your top mount?

Yeah, I'll make sure to take a lot of photo's during installation

The pod, some say it will be blocking. But lets face it, you won't be driving 245km/h with it. Original WRC cars have a front mount IC (the scoop is useless) but I'm fine with it. For the 5-10k I'm driving the car. I think I have the pods on in the dark months of the year. It's just very cool to have it basicly ;-)

When you plan on long road trips on high speed, a lamp pod is not what your looking for... It's about 3-4 feet wide and one and half feet in height, flat surface. It will give your car significant more air recistance...

I don't want to disencourage anyone buying it, but you do need to realise the purpose of the parts. As they are rally things and you drive a street car.

To buy the vents or the pod just visit antonenko555.com or give me a pm and I will bring you in contact with Yuriy

Absolutely incredible build, quite intriguing as well. A picture may be worth a thousand words but your photos are probably worth thousands of dollars I will be putting into my car. Geez, thanks

Default From WRC tribute to Group A replica

So ... I found this old forum thread back again ... not sure if I will update any more on here as Instagram works much better for me but here's an update.

I was never able to achieve the ultimate goal of building a 2-door WRC safari replica with the wide-body and all the rest involved. it would have been another 10 year plan which I didn't want to invest in. So I turned the project around one more time and it will be the last.

The Safari Rally of 1996 was one of the pre-WRC cars and ran with Group A machines. The Group A serie is based on factory cars with altered components on a standard road car shell. My car a sedan, was the perfect base for it.

I went almost all-in on this project in the past year, I want it as close to the orginal car of 1996 as possible.

Still a lot of smaller projects to the interior etc but most important is that the car drives and all works well. Extending it bit by bit now.
