I hate the protruding center caps. I need to find flat replacements. Any ideas?

Is that just a Subaru decal on the center cap?

Default Anyone had any issues with Avid1 wheels?

Strongly considering AV20s for my ISM 2015, and just wondering if anyone has experienced any quality/durability issues with their Avid1s?

Also trying to decide between the 9.5 and 8.5 widths. I'd like to have them close to flush with the fenders, but not protrude past. I've looked at a lot of photos and it seems difficult to tell if the 9.5 actually go past the fenders. On x SLYC x WRX, the fronts appear to be out past the fender, but on Stealthfish's STI, they seem a bit more inboard. Difference between WRX and STI?

^ I would lean more towards the 9.5. my buddy has that on his 14 wrx and it doesn't poke. im not sure if there's a big difference in the fender width between the 14 and the 15 wide body. but I have the 8.5 on my 09 narrowbody and it fits flush for me. youre going to want to look into offset as well

It's not the difference between the WRX and the STi, it is the drop and camber angle that defines the flush. The WRX and the STi for the 2015 have the same wheels gap. The STi just have a stiffer suspension (from my knowledge). Anyway, if you have stock camber and run stock height, you will protrude more then a dropped car with more negative camber. Now the rear camber is non adjustable unless you have the control arms but the front can be adjusted. I am running stock dropped rear camber, -2.6 I think after the drop. The fronts are at -1.7. That is why it probably looks more flush than SLY WRX. I don't know what camber angle he is running at.

I am running HKS Hypermax GT IV coils with front camber set to -1.7. This is just for people that want to skip the paragraph above. 18X9.5 FTW, you also get the extra traction if you run 265 tires like me , I'm all about form and function, still all preference. I wanted aggressive concave + fender flush with the extra ability to run wider tires.

I know with that size the best tires will be 265/35/18

I'm curious about stock suspension rubbing if any as well.

I have no suspension or suspension modifications, no camber, etc. They might poke a hair, I'll have to grab some photos ASAP.

Looks dope!

Just my $.02, it would look sick with the red STI center cap decals.

Just some shots my friend took an hour ago with his new camera. I have had the wheels for over a year, so far so good.

Just got mine in a few days ago, sadly I have about 4 months til i can enjoy them on the car.

18x9.5 et38 in Bronze. Ill be running the stock 245/40/18 rubber till they need replaced, then mount some 265s on them. The photo doesnt do the bronze justice, it is definitely "bronzer" in person. Im thrilled with the look of these.

What TPMS situation are you all running. I was hoping to get my factory sensors cloned using these>

does anyone in here have experience having sensors cloned? Can it be done at any tire shop/wal-mart/subaru dealer? Ive called around and a few shops told me no, I didnt call the dealership because, dealership. I know it can be done, Im just wondering the opinion of those that did it, and the initial cost of the cloning.

I paid $589.95 delivered into my garage from an Ebay vendor by the name NEVERRUNSTOCK. I paid the buy it now price and got a phone call the next day asking me what car they were going on and to make sure that the offset and bolt pattern were what I was looking for. I had originally purchased silver because bronze was sold out EVERYWHERE. When I talked to the guy (Sam) from NeverRunStock on the phone I told him i was originally gonna hold out til bronze was back in stock. Sam said, I can call Avid1 and see when My next bronze shipment is coming in if you want, we can change the order and get the bronze ones directly to you from Avid1.
I got a call back within 15 minutes and was told that Id have to wait anothier week or two but the bronze in the size I wanted would come straight to me, and they did. So awesome, incredible service and a sweet set of wheels. Im pumped to get the summer setup on!

I was not expecting to hear a price like that. I really like the bbs my car came with. I got the powder coated gloss black. Are these forged? or cast?

I'm not sure exactly what TPMS to get because I ordered some that were supposed to be direct replacements for the OEM ones and when I got them installed I went to Subaru to have them reprogrammed and my car reflashed so the light would go away, and apparently they could not get it to work.

I got mine for about $560 shipped to my door from nlmotoring.com. Two of the wheels came scratched and I had to send them back so I was rather annoyed with that.

My tires are 265/35/18 and I rub even with rolled fenders in the back.

I'm thinking of getting some bc coilovers after I install my downpipe this week to eliminate my wheel gap.
