Any plans for some aero Jourdan?

A proper front splitter, under tray and diffuser could go a long way.

Maybe the crazy huge GR WRC wing

I think a splitter and a diffuser would suit my needs. Maybe side skirts. A flat bottom might be fun. But I'm not sure how often I would use it. (It's not allowed in most places.) I still have the eBay wing from the old car. It still says "Suh Dude" on it. I don't think I would benefit from the downforce and drag for a rear wing.

Lately, I've been working with BMSPEC. They already have a hatch mounted rear wing. Currently working on a splitter and gourney flap for the stock spoiler.

I know you're not going for looks but damn that is sick. Are these guys hatchback specific aero wizards?

Their GR solution

They say it works well. Being mounted to the hatch is concerning to me.

This is just my wet dream for a GR.

I can see your car going full time attack in the years to come.

I liked the WRC wing when it first came out. IDK how I feel about it now. Seems like a hard to find piece that won't be very effective.

I like the diffuser on that second car though. IDK how they're mounting that wing. If it's going through the rear window, that's not something I want to do.

I think a realistic future will probably be similar to Showkar.

That's just hilarious. Good chance it performs better than it looks if its catching air off that top hatch spoiler.

Carbon over fenders like those on the blue car could work for you. Get some wider tires under there.

If it works, it works. Really just a less fancy version of what BettleAero is doing.

I don't think I'll need more fender work. I'm able to comfortably fir 285s. Most rulesets I'm coming across want 255. Unless the car is Unlimited. But I really don't have the budget for that.

Futzing with another gauge face.

It's not perfect.

Came up with another concept.

Last Saturday was first round of AutoX for 2019.

Picked up some hardware from last year.

Rolled some coal.

Best run.

Did alright.

And more photos.

I kinda wish it was hydro locked...

This ****ing bolt...

All torn apart.

Piston looks ok.

The exhaust valves on #4 were bent and needed to be replaced.

Engine went 5000 miles since the rebuild.

It's getting there...

I had also noticed that the coating on the header was not doing well.

The header had to come off for this repair. Good opportunity to take it back and get it re-coated. Downside, coating takes 2-3 weeks.

Some more detail on how bad the header is.

Being in this kind of shape after only 3 months is not great.
