Yes, I installed the Diode Dynamics last week,

It was my first fiberglass "job" , and I bet I could do a better job on prepping them before the paint

I only used the fog housing to get the "shape "
After the fiberglass was all patched and sanded down It came right off that foam , so basically these are just flat covers ( I don't have any pics of them from the back side )

But it would be nice if there would be a company that could do a mold off these and I know Iam not the only one out here that wanted to change the look of the front a bit

I really don't like the black plastic that comes on them stock, and have debated trying to make something color matched. I would need the cutout for my fogs and turn signals though.

Why the need for the screw in the middle when they are mounted?

One of the best DIY mods.
You weren't able to keep the existing mounting tabs? I feel like it would still hold?

Combining this mod with the jdm fog DRL strip would look cool.

Well I was planning on molding them on top of the stock black plastic covers, but the fiberglass didn't bond well with the foam that I used, I bet there is a special foam out there that would bond well with fiberglass...
It would be much nicer if it would be a one piece with the black plastic, than all the stock tabs would work and there would be no need for the screw....

these are prototype only I have extra covers that I can still play with
