This looks very good!

FWIW, if you try again with another set of bezels, you can purchase ones from a base model w/o the fog-lamp openings. Don't know if this would make a difference.

Would be sick to have cutouts for the option of large foglights like the GC/GD.

Awesome project! With the exception of the screw, they look factory.

Get some kind of patent going if you plan to make these to sell. $100 says Subispeed and others are going to see this and make them and charge out the @$$ for them.

Man I might just buy a 3D printer for this, might. depending on the size, they get expensive.

I can scan the OEM bezels I have then edit them in CAD and basically make a pop in bezel like the one in OP's post.

You woudl have to disable the turn signals, would prob be illegal if you didnt have C light turn signals or some sort of alternative.

Could have two versions and drill holes in it and have LED's like the rocket bunny front bumpers.

Yea I was thinking of drilling a series of 1/16 inch holes into the STi writing so it looks like its lighting up. Might not look good tho.

I used Window/door foam from Home Depot, but when i put the fiberglass it didnt want to grab that foam good and basicly i took them apart and i have "covers " only, the screw is holding it in place, i painted the screw red so its less visible and i also changed the white font to black

Ah, I follow now. Should have read the whole thread more closely, ha.

I'm going to give this a shot. I ordered a set of the fogless bezels to have more structure back there, and was thinking of using bondo instead of foam. Do you think that would be ridiculous to have these huge chunks of bondo in there? Also considered cutting the whole back section out, leaving just the frame, and gluing some kind of plastic backing so you'd only have say half an inch of fiber or filler to deal with. issue there is that with just the edges you could potentially have issues with the frames deforming.

Cool mod and this really has my mind churning!
