Some shots from the other day. I know I said I'm content but might be looking into purchasing something big...

What are the wheel size specs and do they clear brembos in the front?

These are 18x9.5 +36 and yes they do clear brembos as they are a deep concave.

So about that something big...

The reason I haven't posted any updates for the last 6 months:

Varis Half Carbon Rear Diffuser

I was drooling while opening this...the wait was around 4.5 months but it was so worth it. The carbo weave and the build quality was superb. Installed it the day I got it but had to do some custom work to fit it with the Nameless (note: not many exhaust will fit with it, so disclaimer before buying). I also did not buy the fins as I wanted to fit the diffuser with my HTautos CF spats, which worked perfectly.

Pictures of diffuser on the car:

It is really subtle and not many people notice it, which is what I wanted with a diffuser in the rear. My quote for it is "If you know, you know."

Also, along with the diffuser I ordered Varis Exhaust Garnishes to cover the holes from the OEM Subaru exhaust finishers. Adds a nice touch to complete the bottom line of the rear end.

Other than that, nothing has changed at all about the car from my last post. So much for my plans to go E85 by the end of this summer. Shooting for next summer now as I save up slowly and gather the parts.

Pulled the trigger on a set of new Tomei Equal Length Headers and also found a Grimmspeed Top Mount Intercooler for a good price. Along with that, installing a Grimmspeed EBCS to round off the start of Stage 3. Going with a Torqued Performance tune again as it has served me well. If all goes planned, by the end of this week everything will be on the car and the rumble will be gone.

Tomei ELH:

Man it’s been a while. Headers and TMIC are on and the car is running perfect. With the retune from Torqued Performance, there’s definitely a difference in power. Most obvious is the fact that boost builds a lot quicker vs. stage 2. Also, most of the rumble is gone and the exhaust note is perfect while being able to scream near redline.

First week of October, my new wheels arrived: Volk Racing TE37 OG Formula Silver (#TEeverything)

Got tired of having only bronze wheels on my car and wanted to run the silver with WRB as I have not seen many people with it. Honestly, it took a while to get used to in the beginning but I 100% LOVE the color now. As classic as bronze is, there’s something about Formula Silver that makes it so unique.

Took off the BTA wing to repair the crack on one of the winglets from a while back. Reinstalled the stock wing with the paint matched CF extension and honestly I don’t know if I want to go back to the big wing.

Decided to also bring the STI mirrors in to paint (side note: I’ve had these since November 2017).

Also, I wanted to spice up the side mirrors up a little so pulled the trigger on the Liberal LED Winker Kit. This side mirror turn signal housing has three functions, which are the turn signals, DRL, and a welcome light. Currently, only the turn signals are wired up and I’ve been too lazy to wire up the other two functions. Hopefully I can find some motivation to finish it up.

Locally, found a STI headliner and some other black interior trim so decided it was time to switch the tan trim to black.

Pieced it together used and new and in the end definitely worth it. The cabin feels a lot cozier and you definitely feel a lot more snug. Not to mention how great it is to have an all black interior. If you haven’t sat in a car with black interior, try sitting in a car with one and you’ll feel it.

One last thing that was done for the car was the 100K maintenance. Here’s a list of everything:
-Gates Timing Belt Kit
-Transmission + Diff Fluid Change
-NGK One Step Colder Spark Plugs
-Grimmspeed Master Cylinder Brace

Shoutout to my mechanic Dan (IG: @daneeeeega) for doing all the maintenance for me.
