Still don't know. EVERYTHING we've seen is all speculation. Sure hope so though.

There's nothing left to debut except 2022 Impreza, so 2021 WRX makes sense.

https://www.autoblog.com/2019/08/15/...x-sti-changes/

We also received word of small changes coming to the 2020 WRX and STI. The performance package for the WRX has been massaged a bit, and it adds a big Brembo brake package (as opposed to just high-performance pads) to the list of equipment included. The Recaro buckets, power-driver seat and moonroof delete are still included, but the package costs $2,850 now, versus the $2,050 price for 2019.

If an STI is more your flavor, know that it gains keyless entry and push-button start for 2020. Subaru also redesigned the engine bay cooling ducts for better cooling, and added a new dark gray wheel option. The cheapest WRX comes to $28,395 now and the cheapest STI will run you $37,895. Those prices constitute modest bumps of $300 and $400 respectively when compared to the 2019 model year cars.

Looks like Torque News was wrong.. no Series.White for 2020 or any other special editions announced for the WRX & STI (except the S209 - pricing still not announced).

However, the BRZ tS is back and comes in the ceramic white that they mentioned.

Series.White will likely be a later announcement.

Subaru announced the Series.Gray edition when they released the pricing of the WRX & STI last year.

Is 2017 the only year with this current generation that didn't get an special edition? 15-Launch, 16-Hyper Blue, 50th Annv/18-Type RA, 19- Series Gray. So far I've liked all of the special editions.

That's correct. 2020 should be the S209.

2020's are starting to arrive at dealers, but Subaru's website still says the S209 is a 2019.

I still hope we see the series.white, but without the 2020 two-tone wheels.

Interesting to see a 2019 model released after 2020s I get that it's a slow production, limited edition. Assuming the rumors are true, it's possible that Subaru will delay the announcement of the Series.White until after the S209s have been sold.

Yeah. I got a lot of shoulder shrugs on that. But, I guess it takes a while to hand assemble 200 cars.

I've been bugging my local dealers about the S209 and they know nothing. "Late 2019" could be 12-31-19 at 2359hrs.
