Default JDM V7 ej207 into my 05 WRX

So im thinking of purchasing a V7 JDM ej207 shortblock with cp pistons and acl bearing, i dont want to deal with re wiring and stuff so my question is will my heads bolt on with no problems? or what other mods would you guys recomend to go with it? i thought of upgrading my valvetrain and maybe a set of mild cams with some porting. and im thinking of probably running a 20g or a fpgreen, maybe even a dom3 im not really sure, i want to make about 350-375 on pumpgas, maybe with meth if i have to. and obviously supporting mods, injectors, fuel pump, fmic, and a clutch. also are the injectors i would need still top feed or would i need sidefeed?

Any input you guys have would be great, i want to get my car running again so im looking to start purchasing parts by the end of the week, let me know what you guys think! thanks a lot!

yes your heads will bolt up no problems. the injectors will depend on what rail setup and manifold you use if you use your factory 05 rails and manifold you would use top feed

so as of right now this is what im looking at doing, let me know if there is anything i need to add to this list, please and thank you.

jdm ej207 shortblock, cp pistons acl bearings

jdm oil pump

ej205 master gasket kit (idk if i need all this but thats why im asking)

arp headstuds

stage 1 exedy clutch kit

crower 272 cams

fp 20g 8cm^2

850cc injectors

walbro 255

FMIC? ( i have a big top mount is that enough?)

my car has 60k miles on it, do i need to get a new timing belt kit? thats a lotta money i dont wanna spend but i would like some opinions on that...

Also am i gonna need a fuel rail kit or will stock be enough?

i want to make between 350whp and 400whp on pump gas maybe with meth but i would love to stay with strictly pump gas.

also how high will i be able to rev? i dont know much about the 207 but im putting my heads on with a set of 272 cams. if i can get answers to all these questions that would be awesome! thanks guys!

You will likely want valve springs as well. If your heads are shim-over-buckets, you will want to convert to shimless for higher than stock WRX redline.

8k redline is pretty standard for built up heads, should be plenty for a 20G, no reason to really push it.

Timing belt is coming off anyway, now is the time to replace it. No labor cost, just parts. Since a timing belt will typically outlast the time between rebuilds of a forged piston motor, you want a new timing belt. You don't want to have to replace the timing belt mid cycle on the motor. In my opinion anyway.
